Tertiary Courses


SRG’s Level I and II Certificates in Safety Health and Environment along with its Diploma and Safety in Health are the most recent additions to the company’s introductory and specialized courses. These programmes will equip participants with knowledge of Safety Health and the Environment as outlined in the OSH Act 2004 and Environmental Management Act 2000.  Graduates will facilitate superior management of Safety Health & Environmental issues through the application of knowledge gained from these courses.   


Introductory Safety Certificate Level I (3 credits)

This entry level certificate provides the foundation for a successful career in safety. Participants will gain a basic knowledge of safety and obtain the framework required to excel in the Level II Certificate and the workplace. Graduates of this programme can function as Safety Trainees.


Certificate Level II (9 credits)

This programme allows for persons to gain a basic knowledge of safety and be able to respond to incidents. Participants will be able to function as a Safety Monitor in the work place and may pursue SRG’s Diploma in Safety.


Diploma

This programme introduces its participants to some of the practical aspects of occupational safety health and environment. Graduates at this level will be able to function as Safety technicians in the workplace. Students will be exposed to a range of opportunities to operate efficiently in an industrial environment and will receive industry relevant training in SHEQ Management.
